Lee Broom Continues To Light The Way, This Time With Candlelight

Looking to cast a designer glow to your interior spaces this fall? Iconic British product designer, Lee Broom, has your fix with his latest debut of this super chic fragranced candle collection.

Recognized for creating original luxury furniture, lighting, and accessories as well as engaging and immersive installations and interiors, the multi-disciplinary designer now turns his lens toward enhancing everyday lifestyles through considered design. Three years in the making, this collection of candles allowed Lee Broom the opportunity to further explore how environments are scented as well as how they look and feel through candlelight.

Self Portrait (gunmetal vessel) and On Reflection (gold vessel), Lee Broom’s first two scented candles, feature a crystal candle holder refilled by replaceable recyclable vessels with biodegradable soy candles. Lee wanted to produce an item that not only enhanced a space with beautiful fragrance but also was a striking object in its own right, boasting a sense of permanence and collectability. The result is a contemporary and elegant sculptural object combined with ephemeral and replaceable fragranced candles.

“I wanted to create a collection of scented candles that not only enhance a space with a beautiful fragrance but are beautiful objects in their own right. I have designed the candles to appear to float freely in the holder and create different reflections depending on the surroundings. There is a sense of permanence with the solid crystal holder and a sense of versatility with the different candle refills. I am excited to release more fragrances in the future giving more options to enhance your environment.”
