Mass Awakening: Welcome To The Big Quiet

The big WTF that was 2020 left us all feeling more stressed and detached than ever before. Luckily, The Big Quiet’s neoteric approach to meditation is helping people around the globe learn how to delve into that much-needed inner peace…together.

Meditation is traditionally perceived to be a solitary practice. However, Jesse Israel, founder of The Big Quiet, is working to change that mindset and show the world the benefits of meditation as a community. Yes, there are meditation centers and events across the globe where people are gathered and guided into a zen state. Even so, when all is said and done, practitioners and attendees typically pack up their zafus and go on their merry ways, hopefully better equipped with the peace of mind to ward off the many everyday stressors that come with life in the twenty-first century.

The Big Quiet is working to expand upon this notion by extending those gatherings with post-meditation discussions about life’s experiences and burdens. Through conversation, mass meditation evolves from an inward experience to an outward one where people find they aren’t alone in how they feel, deepening their connection with others. This is further elevated by hosting expansive mass meditations, attended by thousands of people, at iconic sites such as Madison Square Garden, Fenway Park and the American Museum of Natural History (shown above). Special musical performances by the likes of Miguel and Sofi Tukker add even more magic to the existential events.

Jesse must be doing something right—as well as being invited to hold corporate meditations at companies like Google and Ford, The Big Quiet also garnered the attention of Oprah, who invited Jesse and The Big Quiet on her 2020 Vision Tour. NBD.

Jesse will be teaching his 1 Giant Mind Being Technique in the upcoming The Big Quiet 101: Virtual Meditation Course. Now you may be thinking, I thought the point of The Big Quiet was to meet in-person and do this together? TRUE, but the online course is designed to teach anyone how to reduce toxic stress and anxiety through daily practice while enhancing leadership capabilities and making a meaningful impact on the world.
