It’s time to fall in love with FALL all over again—And there’s no better place to do just that than on the East Coast in the Catskill Mountains. Surrounded by fiery foliage and crisp apple orchard air overlooking the Delaware River, sits Seminary Hill and Cidery. A.K.A Your dream fall refuge.

Attributing its simplistic magnetism to the strong historic orchard roots, the allure of Seminary Hill lies in the property’s aesthetically forward approach to hospitality and sustainable design practices. And the additional two-story cidery, perched against 62 acres of land doesn’t fall far from it’s 5-star review tree. Just north of Seminary Hill’s boarding house, sits the world’s first Passive House-certified cidery. Using low impact energy and a zero carbon initiative, the intended results of each glass of cider is both sustainable and crisp. Each brew contains almost no excess sugar and contains over 7% ABV. Each pear and apple tree was mindfully planted with holistic guidelines and remains untouched by pesticides and herbicides.

The second floor of the Cidery holds a Cathedral-style tasting room, designed with floor to ceiling windows, exposed wooden beams and contemporary furniture and accents. The tasting room grants balcony access that provides guests a generous panoramic view of the delicious apple and pear orchards below along with an impressive Delaware River Valley sight. Nosh on seasonally shifting farm-to-table small plates exclusive to peak season ingredients while enjoying one of the five crafted ciders - or perhaps all. Year round, visitors can tour the orchard grounds and indulge themselves with a cider tasting. Cheers!
