When The Vintage Meets The Now - Seer Studio

Before it’s backyard production origins in Austin, Texas, designer Scott Martin pulled his inspiration from 1940s French aesthetic mingled with 1970s Italian furniture. What began as drawings and doodlings on napkins and notebooks of contemporary home pieces with vintage shapes soon transformed into tangible and customizable furniture pieces that exude a feeling of inheritance and luxury.

The need for a creative, like Scott Martin

to manifest brazen imagination into a touchable and livable work of art means taking the leap into action, and then remaining true to the vision thereafter. As a designer, Martin kept his geometric shaped furniture authentic by creating his pieces at home base in Austin, Texas where his materials like oak are sourced. The Seer collection includes lavish velvet sofas and uniquely shaped tables. The overall design is intentionally textured and unexpected, juxtaposing the glamor of its inspired riviera roots and its natural hand-to-stone craftsmanship.
