The Icon No Home Should Live Without: Ligne Roset’s Pukka Collection

There is an artistically playful chair…

that has been slyly making itself at home with its ever so soft silhouette and dynamic presence. Enter: The Pukka Chair. When in use, this stunner has a familiar material embrace that loosens up the room, and gives a gentle hug to whoever’s lucky enough to snag the best seat in the house. But don’t fret, even when the Pukka is unoccupied, you can still admire its structural beauty from any angle in the room. Subtle and simply executed, the Pukka has a reputation for purring lowly—never seeking out attention—adding layers of volume and intrigue to any interior it calls home.

Designed by international design royalty Yabu Pushelberg, the Pukka Chair pulls inspiration from refined silhouettes, feminine contours and soft malleable arches. The collection balances luxurious velvet with high-resilient foam that celebrates a magnified meaning of indulging in pure comfort. The Gentle Fabric (Roset’s stretchiest fabric yet!) is composed of 100% wool stretch velvet, which allows the upholstery to accomplish every bend and bounce it may encounter.

Pukka’s curvaceous and come-cuddle frame may lean a bit mid-century-minimalist, but its playful plushness creates a sense of conversational flexibility. It’s squishy, manipulated seating fills a declarative need for softness and relaxation while breathing more joy and boldness into the room.
